Rights Across the Curriculum: an active learning approach

This interactive online course aims to support teachers at all levels to embed an exploration of human rights across the curriculum and into the ethos of the school. This is offered as a 2 part course. 

Key points

This course will:

  • build knowledge and understanding of the UNCRC and Human Rights
  • make links between Rights-based learning, Global Citizenship and Learning for Sustainability
  • use active learning methodologies to explore rights and embed rights within the curriculum
  • share a range of ways to embed rights across the life and culture of the school
  • consider a wide range of resources to support rights-based learning and teaching

Who is it for?

All primary and secondary teaching staff including probationers.
