Inspiring learning for a fairer future

Working in partnership with a number of organisations, Highland One World works to develop and deliver projects which promote the development of a more just and sustainable world. Here you can find out more about our latest projects.

Are you passionate about educating for a better world? We are looking for enthusiastic secondary teachers and youth workers to be part of our exciting new transformative EU global learning project - Start the Change.

The aim of the project was to develop a relevant global citizenship resource for Scottish schools which would engage students with some of the land issues which have faced rural communities in Scotland and continue to face rural communities in the developing world today, and equip teachers to facilitate their learning and engagement with these issues.

The Global Learning Programme is a national project funded by the Department of International Development. There are opportunities to participate in sharing good practice events and to access Global Citizenship resources which have practical application and give creative and relevant ideas.
