In October 2019, our Highland Changemakers visited the Mediterranean Island of Lampedusa where they learnt more about migration issues and worked together with their peers from across Europe to create the Carta di Lampedusa – a action plan for positive change.
The Feis Rois Changemakers explored the parallels between migration issues in the Highlands in the past and migration issues in the Mediterranean today. Harnessing the power of music to effect social change.
Working in partnership with Abriachan Forest, our Highland Cluster Changemakers worked to build an SDG trail and galleries to raise awareness and action on global issues
The Nairn Changemakers have been working on climate action and as part of their activity, created a living moss mural at their local community centre.
The Future Girls Changemaker group used their stories to inspire action on migration issues in Scotland.
During lockdown, the Aberdeen Changemaker group used graffiti art to promote action on SDG 3- Good Health and Wellbeing.
