Working in partnership with a number of organisations, Highland One World works to develop and deliver projects which promote the development of a more just and sustainable world. Here you can find out more about our latest projects.
Through this project, we worked with nursery and P1 practitioners from across Scotland to develop a new resource and professional learning programme, supporting Global Citizenship through a child-centred play-based approach.
Highland One World and Learning for Sustainability Scotland worked in partnership with the Cairngorm National Park Authority on the Development Phase of their new National Lottery Heritage Funded Cairngorms 2030 project.
This project aims to bring about large scale, inclusive, transformational change that delivers our collective climate and biodiversity responsibilities.
In the run up to COP 27, we invited primary schools from across Highland to articulate the change they wanted to see through creative artivism projects which were displayed in Highland Council Chambers during COP 27.
This project, funded by the Pebble Trust, supported a global citizenship approach to teaching about the climate emergency in schools across Highland in the run up to COP26.
The Global Learning Programme was a national project funded by the Department of International Development.
Start the change! was a project co-funded by the European Commission which supported teachers and young people to explore and take informed action on issues linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
